A Charles Catteau for Boch Freres Belgian art deco vase. The footed ovoid vase features enamel glaze over an earthenware body, a technique known as ‘ceramic cloisonne’ developed in the early part of the twentieth century. It features a central band with pink and white flowers and green leaves with tan and black accents on a taupe ground. The band is accented with wavy white lines and white dots outlined in black. The vase has a blue maker’s stamp, ‘D.622’ in blue, and the letter ‘G’ in blue to the underside.
