Victorian Marble Top Walnut Chest

Item Details

An antique Victorian marble-topped walnut chest. The chest has a rectangular white marble top with a beveled edge, and the chest is made of walnut, featuring recessed side panels, three drawers with carved fronts, dovetailed joints, ring pulls and wood keyholes, and it rests on a molded base. The interiors of the drawers are lined with green plaid material. There are no maker’s marks.

Condition

- marble has holes drilled in the surface; gouge on one side; surface scratches, marks, discoloration and wear throughout; hardware is loose; no key for locks (drawers are not locked)
