A first edition 1942 publication of Secret Life of Salvador Dali by Salvador Dali. This book was published in 1942 by Burton C. Hoffman and The Dial Press. It is grey cloth on board bound with lithograph on paper illustration signed in plate by Dali and dated 1942 to the lower left. It includes a paper label with black lettering to the spine. In the book Dali related his early life remembrances and different surrealist tales. It was translated from the French by Haakon M. Chevalier.

Condition

- some water damage on pages with toning and foxing; some discoloration and fading to cover; dust jacket missing.
