Japanese WWII Officers Shin-Gunto Sword

Item Details

A mid WWII-era shin-gunto Japanese Officer’s sword. This sword features a brown wrapped tsuka handle with cherry blossom menuki beneath, a bronze tsuba also adorned with cherry blossoms and a metal saya or scabbard.

- blade shows signs of being sharpened with nicks and dings to the blade edge.
