A late 20th-century giclée print on paper titled The 9:45 A.M. Accommodation; Stratford, Connecticut after a circa 1860s work by listed American artist Edward Lamson Henry (1841 – 1919). The piece depicts a 19th-century genre scene with figures boarding a train and horse-drawn carriages at a rural East Coast depot. The image is signed in plate to the lower right. It is matted and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- discoloration and staining to surface of print, especially visible to lower left; edge wear, loose joints and scuffing to frame; tears to backing paper.
