Hand-painted Chinese Decorative Ceramic Dish

A large Chinese blue and white decorative porcelain dish. The hand-painted dish features robed figures among trees, bushes, and stones to the center with thick scrolling vine and floral patterns to the verge and a quatrefoil diamond pattern to the edges. The floral design continues to the exterior. The underside of the rim bears an apocryphal Jiajing reign mark, however, the piece was likely produced in the second half of the 20th century.

- intentional distressing with all-over crazing, discoloration, and significant staining to the underside.
