Hand-painted Chinese Decorative Ceramic Dish

Item Details

A large Chinese blue and white decorative porcelain dish. The hand-painted dish features robed figures among trees, flowers, and clouds to the center with thick scrolling vine and floral patterns to the verge and similar thin designs to the edges. The floral design continues to the exterior. The underside of the rim bears an apocryphal Jiajing reign mark, however, the dish was produced in the late 20th century.

Condition

- intentional distressing with all-over crazing, discoloration, and significant staining to the underside.
