Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a Trumpet player signed Thomas. This portrait depicts a jazz musician in a yellow shirt and tie and flat brimmed hat, leaning back with eyes closed as he plays a trumpet. The warm toned figure it set against a cool blue black background. The work is signed in the lower right ‘Thomas’. It is presented in a wood frame with arabesque motif trim. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
Condition
- to fair; some scuffing throughout the image area creating image loss; dark wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
