Delft Style Cheese Serving Pieces
Item Details
A selection of vintage ceramic serveware and decorative tiles. This group features a wooden cheese board with a ceramic tile inlay. The tile has a blue on white windmill design and there are two recessed handles to the underside. Also included are two cheese slicers with ceramic handles, a spreading knife and a small shoe. Accompanying these pieces are two decorative square tiles with windmill landscapes which are marked to the underside, ‘DP Delft’ with a series of X marks. They also have attached hanging loops.
Condition
- one cheese server has a cracked handle and the metal piece is disconnected from the handle; crack to surface of tile on cheeseboard; minor discoloration and surface marks throughout from prior use.
