A late 20th-century watercolor painting on paper titled Misty Falls by listed artist Margaret Elizabeth Sheppard (American, 1915 – 2006). The piece depicts an abstract blend of overlapping mauve, indigo and brown hues against a white ground. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right. It is matted in white and presented under glass in a white wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a label with the artist’s name and work title.
