A woodblock print titled Cherry Blossoms by the Gate by Japanese sōsaku-hanga artist Yoshida Tōshi (吉田 遠志, 1911-1995). This piece, rendered in shades of pinkish yellow and bluish green, depicts a flowering cherry tree filling the sky over a low-roofed house. A woman and little boy stand hand-in-hand by the open gate as if waiting for a third person. There is a signature seal toward the lower right of the print, and a block of calligraphic text toward the left edge. It is tripled-matted under glass in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.
