Set of Chinese Reverse Painted Glass Snuff Bottles
Item Details
A four piece set of Chinese glass snuff bottles. Each rectangular vessel is reverse painted with a detailed figural vignette and topped with a round red lid. The pieces are presented in a divided, cloth lined box. The inner lid is inscribed with a series of gilt characters and reads: ‘Fine works of Insied-Painting.’ [sic]
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches consistent with gentle use; items presented in original box for storage.
