A member of the 18th-century Society of Artists of Great Britain, artist Edward Rooker was known for both his landscape and architectural engravings. Notable works include Six Views in London, as well as plates featured in publications such as the Oxford Almanack and Civil Architecture. Rooker’s talents extended beyond engraving; he also worked as a draughtsman and performed as a harlequin at London’s Drury Lane Theatre.
