Paul Bisson was born in 1938 in Gurnsey, England. He studied at St. Martin’s School of Art in London and the Royal Academy School. Bisson worked mainly in watercolor and line drawing, but began perfecting a technique of etching to mirror his own style of drawing. By the 1980’s Bisson had become known for his landscape etching in Europe and had established himself as a prominent artist in the United States.
