Circa 1890s "Handley Cross" by Surtees with Illustrations after John Leech

An antique copy of Handley Cross; or, Mr. Jorrocks Hunt by Robert Smith Surtees. This edition is from a multi-volume series of works by Surtees and features numerous illustrations after John Leech. The book was published by Bradbury, Agnew, & Co. of London during the late 19th century. It is presented in a three-quarter leather bound cover with red cloth boards and gilt lettering to the spine.

Condition

- some scuffs to cover; light edge wear; spine cap and tail show small tears; slight corner bumping; loose hinges with somewhat worn binding; page toning; small discoloration spotting.
