A pair of lithographic prints after American artist Charles Marion Russell (1864 – 1926). These pieces depict traditionally dressed indigenous Americans holding objects such as a spear or an oar. These prints are rendered with gestural and expressive mark making. They are initialed in-plate to the lower left corner of the picture plane. They are presented in wooden frames, under acrylic glass, with sawtooth hangers to the verso.
Condition
- minor scuffing to the finish on the frames; dust; minor discoloration to the print of the figure with the buffalo remarque; minor foxing to the lower portion for the other print.

- measures frame; sight size 10.25" W x 14.5" H; frame and sight size is approximately the same for both works.
