Hand-Knotted Turkish-Style Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish-style area rug. This wool rug features a densely populated design including a herati pattern with large Shah Abbasi pendants along with winding floral vines to the rich merlot field. These elements incorporate hues of blue, gold, grey, cinnamon, ivory and onyx. Framing the rug are clouded floral band and stylized herati patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with long ivory knotted fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
