Louis XV-Style Upholstered Armchair

Item Details

A Louis XV-style upholstered armchair. The chair features a padded back, seat and partial arms, upholstered in a gold colored woven brocade fabric with stylized floral patterns, accented with brass nail head trim. The fronts of the arms and the legs are made of wood with a mahogany finish, and are accented with carved leaf designs and scrolls. The underside of the seat is labeled ‘Councill Craftsmen, Inc.’

- upholstery in overall good condition with light wear; faint wear to wood including a nick to the finish on the left arm
