Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, rose, scarlet, wheat, sky blue, apricot, and ivory. The deep indigo colored field features a scrolling leaf and palmette pattern beginning with a central bloom. Framing the field is a main floral meander border, along with a pair of running water guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short wool warp fringe to one end, while the other is bound with a short kilim skirt. Unlabeled.
