A 19th century oil painting on canvas of figures by artist Kubler. This well-rendered painting depicts two women softly emerging from the stark shadows, as both peer at a letter one of them holds. This work is reminiscent of listed Austrian artist Ludwig Kubler. The painting is wrapped over a wooden stretcher with a handwritten attribution note to the lower leg.
