An abstract still life painting, rendered with acrylic and tissue paper on canvas. This piece depicts a blue teacup with a handled vessel bearing an arrangement of white flowers, an orange and yellow background behind it. The painting is mounted in a wooden frame with a wire for hanging to its verso along with a notation reading ‘In gratitude to the Emersons for their support of the arts, ie, our struggling painter who has enjoyed working in their house.’

- fair; warping to canvas; paint loss; staining to paint surface; tape peeling from perimeter of canvas; wear to edges and corners of frame.
