A set of six sterling silver mint julep cups by retailer M.A. Selbert of Frankfort, KY. This business was founded by Philip Selbert in 1872 and was taken over by his widow, Mary A. Selbert, after his death in 1889 under the name M.A. Selbert. Each piece has a slight conical shaped well with reeded borders along the outer lip and around the base. They are marked to the undersides, ‘M.A. Selbert Sterling 3759’. The total approximate weight is 23.555 ozt.
