A Victorian 14K yellow gold and black glass mourning hair brooch. The brooch is in a rectangular form, composed of a finely woven hair fabric remnant, displayed under a beveled glass crystal, and framed by two embossed 14K yellow gold bands separated by a black glass insert. The 14K gold back is personalized in beautiful engraved script ‘In Memory of Wm. Arnold Nov 14 1835 Aged 58’.
