Item Details

An autograph document signed by American Revolutionary Patriot Richard Henry Lee (1732-94). Richard Henry Lee was a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses and Second Continental Congress of 1775, whose ‘Lee Resolution’ first asserted for American independence, and later signed the Declaration of Independence. This handwritten document includes Lee’s signature as well as those of three others, and is set within a black mat, under glass in a black wooden frame with a wire hanger to the verso. ADS 1 page, narrow 4to. The piece is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
