An exceptional latter war-date manuscript letter signed by Maryland Patriot William Paca to Robert Alexander. This handwritten letter is presented beneath glass, black matting, and encompassed by a black and gold tone frame with hanging wire affixed to its verso. William Paca (1740–1799) was an American Revolutionary leader from Maryland and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The context of the letter concerns the care of war-time prisoners.
