Antique "The Lady Isabelle" Mantel Clock

An antique The Lady Isabelle mantel clock. The case is constructed of ebonized wood with trompe-l’œil painted marble details and cast metal ornamentation. There are columns on either side of the face which has black Roman numerals, brass hands, and three key arbors. The bezel features egg and dart molding as well as a decorative ring. This clock is designed to have a bell sound on the half hour and to chime on the hour. The works are accessible through a door on the back. The key is present. The works and the case have no markings to indicate the maker but there is an old label on the back, ‘American Manufactured/ The Lady Isabelle’.

- untested, tarnish, face is faded.
