This piece features two items beneath black matting featuring John Hancock, including an intaglio print featuring his signature beneath. The document is signed by Founding Father and former Governor of Massachusetts, John Hancock. The document bears a Pay Warrant countersigned by John Avery (as Secretary). Boston, March 31, 1788. DS 1 page, sm, 4to. The piece is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
