Composer Ira D. Sankey Framed Signature
Item Details
A framed signature from composer and gospel singer Ira D. Sankey. This signature card is presented beneath glass and blue matting, and encompassed by a black frame with a sawtooth hanger affixed to its verso. The card is signed by Sankey with ‘Brooklyn, NY’ written beneath, and dated November 24th 1899. Ira D. Sankey was known as The Sweet Singer of Methodism and composed many hymns and songs for churches that are still in use today.

- yellowing to letter.
