An antique hand-knotted Persian Karaja runner. This wool constructed rug features a row of alternating center medallions on a madder red field accented by floral and foliate motifs. It has a compound border in colorful shades of midnight blue, ivory, and rust along with two natural warp fringed ends. The rug is unmarked.
