An etching with aquatint on paper titled Maria by Costa Rican born artist Magda Santonastasio (1937-2008). This portrait image depicts a solitary woman in profile, looking wistfully out a window. The composition is rendered in moody shades of blue. The work is signed in graphite in the lower right margin, and hand noted ‘A.P.’ as an artist proof. It is presented under glass with a white mat in a weathered wood frame.

- warping on ground; foxing and toning on mat board; wear to top right corner of frame; adhesive remnants on verso of frame.
