A framed image of St. Francis of Assisi, with three Santuario de Plateros minatures. This lot features a framed and illuminating shadowbox image of St. Francis, in his iconic brown robe and seated before an earthen-toned basilica tower, with his Spanish name San Francisco de Asís to the background and ‘Recuerdo de mi Visita’ (‘Memory of your visit’) in red to the glass. Also included are two miniature wooden and woodburned shrines and one shadowbox labelled ‘Yo Bendigo este Hogar’ (‘I bless this house’), each dedicated to Santo Niño de Atocha (Holy Infant of Atocha) from the Sanctuary of Plateros in Zacatecas, Mexico.
