An oil painting on canvas board of a rustic landscape. This Impressionist style painting depicts a rushing body of water pouring over rocks, which border up against an embankment featuring lodges and figures appearing to tend to laundry. The unsigned painting is presented in a gilt wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso, in addition to a handwritten inscription which reads ‘Dillon-Carlson’.

- residue throughout painting; toning on painting; scuffs along left all sides of painting; warping on ground; toning, scratches, and residue throughout verso of ground; cracks and residue on gesso decoration on frame; gesso decoration chipped at upper left corner and upper center.
