Item Details
A Schlagabschaltung German cuckoo clock. The clock features a wood case with a wood thatched roof and an attachable carved wood pine tree in relief. The tree displays a carved bird and a carved birds nest with cuckoo birds inside. Other features of the clock include decorative and colorful wood figures on a porch that move to music and a raised wood face with goldtone Roman numerals and serpentine hands. The clock has a leaf pendulum and pine cone-shaped weights on chains with a hook for hanging on the vers and is labeled ‘Schlagabschaltung’ on the verso.
