Antique Hand Painted Tableware Including Limoges
Item Details
A fifteen piece collection of antique and vintage porcelain tableware. This group features eight hand painted dinner plates. These items were painted by hand, by a woman in the early twentieth century, as amateur china painting was a very popular and socially acceptable pastime for women during that time. They show pink and yellow roses to the rim with raised gilded detail. The blank plates were made by Haviland, Limoges, and they are signed and dated by the painter. Also included are six porcelain teacups from Haviland & Co.
