Two etchings on paper by listed Swedish artist Joe A. Pecsenke (1942-1989). This selection monochromatic intaglio prints includes an image titled Pantalone Serenading Columbina, subtitled by hand Commedia Dell’Arte X-B_, depicting a woman watching a group of minstrels from the vantage point of a high window in a wooden stage set. It is hand numbered 78 in an edition of 150. Also included is an image titled_After the Performance, subtitled by hand Commedia Dell’Arte XXII-B, depicting a group of actors and musicians gathered around a round table set with bottled of wine and ale, also hand numbered 78 in an edition of 150. Both works are signed in graphite in the lower right margin. They are presented loose, unframed.
