A signed limited edition color woodcut titled Cree Chief by listed Uruguayan born artist Antonio Frasconi (1919-2013). This print from multiple blocks depicts a Cree Chief wearing ceremonial beaded attire with two feathers adorning his black hair. The work is signed and dated ’71 in graphite by Frasconi in the lower right margin, and hand numbered 34 in an edition of 100. It is presented loose, unframed.
