Item Details
A vintage Art Deco German grandfather clock by Kieninger. This clock has a mahogany wooden case with a round bonnet, and a plinth base featuring an appliqued foliate motif while rising on reeded bun feet. The front of the clock also has a triple pane glass door with arched details, and a window for the clock face. The golden hued clock face displays black stylized Arabic numbers, an incised chapter ring, spade tipped hands, and hammered details to the center. Above the pendulum is a brace with a dealer tag that reads ‘Peter Krag, Frankfurt’, the pendulum is in a silver finish, and is paired with a cylindrical brass weight. This clock bears no other visible markings.
