A Chinese lacquer screen. This four-panel piece features a black lacquered frame with gilt and painted trim and inlaid figures and details. The screen depicts a gathering of elegant women in a courtyard with an ornate pavilion. Some of the ladies are playing music and others are making silk. This piece includes brass tone hardware and terminates to square wood feet.
