Vintage Louis XV-Style Marble-Top Ormolu Commode
Item Details
A vintage Louis XV-style marble-topped commode. The ornate wood commode is topped with a brown and white serpentine marble top, and it is lavishly decorated throughout with ormolu and decorative wood string inlay, and with three ovals that have inlaid wood flower basket motifs. It has two solid wood dovetailed drawers, with ornate gold colored metal ring pulls, and it rests on curved legs. There are no maker’s marks.
