A circa 1914 map of Asia from Rand McNally’s Atlas of the World. The piece depicts the countries of Arabia, Persia, Afghanistan, Republic of China, Russian Empire, India, Empire of Japan and other surrounding nations, rendered in alternating pale hues of green, orange, yellow and pink. The map is double-matted in blue and cream and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
