Vintage Jacobean Revival Cabinet-on-Stand with Neoclassical Inlays
Item Details
A vintage Jacobean Revival style cabinet-on-stand, circa 1920s. It has carved detailing along the top edge, over a center glass pane with wooden overlay, flanked by diamond matched yew wood paneled doors. Under the glass panel and the diamond matched panels, each section has a Neoclassical style inlay of flowers in a basket, set on a burled panel. It has floral and bead details carved along the edges and in the corners. Inside are adjustable wooden shelves on sawtooth tracking. It stands on turned legs joined by a turned box stretcher.
