An etching titled Abraham and Ishmael by Morrocan-born artist Guillaume Azoulay (born 1949). This print depicts an image of a scene from Abrahamic religious texts found in Judaism, Islam, and Christian theology. It is rendered with gestural linear forms and expressive imagery as well as a color blend across a spectrum of hues. This piece is editioned ‘A.P.’ to the lower left corner of the picture plane as an artist’s proof and signed to the lower right. A COA is present to the frame backing with miscellaneous information labeled. This artwork is presented in a wooden frame, under glass, with a wire hanger to the verso.
