A circa 1860s map of Minnesota from McNally’s System of Geography, map no. 16, created after an engraving by Oliver J. Stuart. The piece depicts the state of Minnesota, bordered by Wisconsin, Iowa, Dakota and British America, with Minnesota rendered in pale pink. The map is double-matted in black and tan and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
