A hand-colored engraving titled Lozenge acarus, Acarus rhombeatus drawn by George Shaw and engraved by Frederick Nodder. This work was produced for George Shaw and Frederick Nodder’s book tilted The Naturalist’s Miscellany. This work depicts a mite with close up details and a small life size renderion towards the top. This work is presented behind glass in an ornate gold tom frame with a floral and leaf and acron moulding. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.
