A collection of early Thornton W. Burgess books circa the 1910s and 1920s, mostly first editions. Included is Buster Bear’s Twins (1923, Little, Brown and Company), Whitefoot the Wood Mouse (1922, Little, Brown and Company), Blacky the Crow with original dust jacket (1922, Grosset and Dunlap), Lightfoot the Deer (1921, Little, Brown and Company), and Bowser the Hound (1920, Grosset and Dunlap). The books are bound in cloth covered boards with applied illustrated titles to the front or the title name stamped to the cover and spine. Five books in total.
