1960s Vintage Merit and Bucheimer USPS Messenger Bags
Item Details
A pair of 1960s vintage messenger bags. The all leather crossbody bags, manufactured for the United States Postal Service, feature full coverage flap fronts, reinforced openings, and pouch style banded bodies. This selection includes one bag stamped ‘Merit Leather 1968’ and one bag stamped ‘Bucheimer 1966’.
Condition
- to poor; metal oxidation and patina, leather distress, discoloration, scuffs, tears; one shoulder strap is missing; one shoulder strap is detached on one side
