An oil painting on canvas by listed American artist William A. Eyden Jr. (1893-1982). This landscape painting depicts a grove of mature deciduous trees with sparse fall foliage, reflecting in a shallow forest pond. The work is signed by Eyden in the lower left corner. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with ornately molded detail. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with an artist identification label.

- to fair; toning on painting; craquelure present at top center of painting; finish on frame chipping off at upper right inner corner; gesso decoration broken at bottom left corner of frame; chips and cracks throughout frame; toning, wear, and punctures on backing paper on verso of frame.
