A vintage Norwegian M1916 bayonet with two barongs and two canvas cases. The M1916 knife-style bayonet was manufactured between 1916 and 1926 in Kongsberg, Norway, and features a smooth dark wooden grip with a straight, single-edged blade with maker’s marks and serial number to the base of the blade. Two Southeast Asian barongs bear long, leaf-shaped blades and curved grips, one of which is made of wood and the other made of bovine horn. Also included are two brown and tan canvas carrying bags with straps and leather reinforcements and buckles.

Condition

- bayonet scabbard missing; significant wear and tarnish to bayonet and barongs with rust to blades; wooden barong grip is noticeably cracked; wear and staining to both canvas bags from use.
