A restrike etching on paper titled Instruments Made Use of at Their Circumcision after a design by French artist Bernard Picart (1673-1733). This print depicts the instruments and religious texts used at a bris ceremony. Originally, the piece was published in the book Religious Ceremonies of the World. It is signed in plate to the lower right and additional inscriptions to the lower margin. This print is presented matted and housed in a lemon gilt wooden frame under glass.

- toning and foxing to paper; toning and marks to mat; dust and accretions to glass and frame; scratches, dents, and chipping to frame.
