Lithograph After Marc Chagall

A 1962 lithograph poster on paper after a work by well-listed Russian-French Expressionist Marc Chagall (1887 – 1985) titled L’Oiseau Vert (The Green Bird). The piece was printed by France’s Mourlot Studios for an exhibition of Chagall’s work at Paris’s Galerie Maeght in June and July of 1962. The piece depicts bird, figural and foliate imagery in a palette of black, green and blue against cream, with the artist’s name and gallery information printed in plate to the lower half of the work. The unsigned print is presented unmatted and unframed.
